What is Oceano?
Oceano Music Festival is California’s only overnight Beach Music Festival. A world-class line up of international and local talent, incredible beach location surrounded by sand dunes, 72+ hours of non-stop house and techno music, and much more. It’s the one we’ve all been waiting for!
When is Oceano?
October 11 – 14th, 2018. Pismo State Beach, CA.
3-Day Festival Pass: Grants access Friday, October 12th
4-Day Festival Pass: Grants access Thursday, October 11th
Campgrounds close: Sunday, October 14th (you may purchase a $10/day camping pass to extend your stay on the campground).
Where is Oceano?
Oceano is located right on the Pismo State Beach, Oceano, CA 93445. You must pick up your festival wristband and car camping pass or an RV pass (if applicable) at the Box Office, before proceeding to the festival site.

What are the Box Office hours?
Thursday 10/11 – 9am – 11pm ** 4-Day Festival Pass holders only
Friday 10/12 – 10am – 12am
Saturday 10/13 – 10am – 10pm
Sunday 10/14 – 10am – 3pm
How do I get to Oceano?
There are 2 ways to get to Oceano.
1. Drive your vehicle or RV to the festival site (car camping pass or RV pass required).
2. Park your car in our secure off-site parking lot, and take our free shuttle to the site.
How old do I have to be to attend?
Oceano is an 18+ event (21+ to buy alcoholic beverages). All attendees must present a valid government ID to enter.
Do I have to buy a Car Camping Pass?
No. All festival passes include free tent camping. If you’d like to camp with your car, you’ll need to purchase a Car Camping Pass.
Are there Security and Rangers at Oceano?
Oceano will be staffed with California State Rangers and Security 24 hours per day.
Can I bring a pet?
Oceano has a no pet rule that will be strictly enforced. Only documented service animals required for a disability will be allowed.
Will you have alcohol for sale?
Yes. We will have a fully stocked bar on-site (beer, wine and spirits).
Will you have food for sale?
Yes. We will have multiple food trucks and vendors on-site, including vegan and plant-based options.

Camping FAQ
Where do I camp?
Tent camping is free and is included with all Oceano Festival Passes. You will be camping in a designated camping area inside the festival perimeter (beach and sand style tent stakes are highly recommended). Car camping is also available, but you must purchase a Car Camping Pass (4x4 vehicles recommended).
For those with Car Camping and RV passes: before entering the park, we recommend you deflate your tire pressure to 10 psi before driving south on hard packed sand to the event entrance at Pole 4. The beach speed limit is 15mph.

Where is the RV parking?
RV parking is parallel to the shoreline, at the edge of car camping area (please see map).
Do you offer RV Hookups?
We do not offer RV hookups, but you may contract it with a local 3rd party company.
Do you have luxury camping at Oceano?
We have multiple luxury camping package available. Please visit THIS page for more details and photos.
Do you allow ins and outs?
Yes, you can leave and re-enter the festival site via our shuttle. Car camping ins and outs and not permitted.
Can I make a campfire?
Campfires are not allowed in the festival perimeter.
Tickets FAQ
Will you offer one-day and two-day tickets?
There are currently no plans to offer single-day or two-day passes. We are focusing on offering this festival as a multi-day experience and to reach our permitted capacity.
Are the tickets refundable?
There are no refunds on ticket sales. Sales are final.
Where do I pick up my festival wristband?
Wristbands may be picked up at the Box Office during regular Box Office hours.

Miscellaneous FAQ
Are there showers on-site?
Community showers will be provided by Dr. Bronners. Private Showers are available as a luxury service.
Oceano is a Leave No Trace event.
Participants need to pack-it-in, pack-it-out. Leave the park better than you find it.
There are massive dumpsters on the beach less than 5 minutes from the event.
Trash collections and recycling will be managed by Trash Naughts. Daily pickups will occur in the campsites, sound stages, and vending areas. Please do your part to keep the beach clean and remember, GLASS IS PROHIBITED on the beach.
